We are here to help you customize our spaces to suit your vision. We welcome people of different faith backgrounds, cultural backgrounds, sexuality and gender to hold their ceremony in our spaces. Upon request, we can provide you with an officiant to perform your marriage service.
Will somebody be on site to assist us during our event?
Yes, all events will have an assigned Host that will be onsite during your event to make sure everything runs smoothly. Our Hosts are there to facilitate, direct people, and answer questions during your event.
Do you welcome film crews?
Yes, we do! Our spaces are accessibly located within walking distance to TTC Subway stations. We also offer a variety of large and open spaces. Please contact us to learn more about our spaces.
Are there any restrictions on religious groups using these spaces?
We are an affirming organization. We have plenty of spaces to accommodate different groups of faith who need a sacred space to congregate.
Am I allowed to serve alcohol?
Yes, wine and beer is permitted. We are happy to discuss further to suit your event, as per the event venue’s policies.
Can I book a space for long-term use?
Yes! We have a growing list of long-term renters that use our spaces regularly for congregational meetings, corporate office and meeting spaces, fitness classes, club/activity meetings, and so much more. We would be happy to explore how our community hub can support your long-term requirements.
Do I need insurance?
Most renters will be required to purchase third-part liability insurance for their activities in our spaces. Please check out event insurance for places of faith for more details.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits will be required to book an event. Full payment is expected one week prior to the event. Should you need to cancel less than one week prior to the event, the deposit will be retained.

Spaces United provides consultation on all events, including answers to your questions on audio-visuals, rentals, catering, insurance, or just queries about pricing and room availability. What are your COVID-19 policies?
At this point in time, we have removed all COVID-19 restrictions in our buildings, and it is optional for renters to wear their masks when in public spaces. It is up to the event organizers to enforce restrictions in rented spaces if they so choose.
